Thomas John Baker Jr, born May 20th 1954 on Ramey Air Force Base in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.
Raised and lived in Tampa most of his life. Survived by wife of 38yrs Mary Ann Butkus Baker ~ son Thomas (Emily) and daughter Christina Enfinger (Scott) and 7 grandchildren Emma, Scott Jr, Ava, Eric, Chloe, Daniel and Madison. Pre deceased by mother Margaret (Peggy) Haskins Baker and brother James Patrick Baker Survived by his father Thomas J. Baker Sr.
sister Mary Ann Baker Yaney (Cliff) brothers Joe (Veronica), Mike (Debbie), Matt (Donna) and Bob (Carmen) Brothers in law Mike Butkus (Diane) & Mark Butkus (Marlene) Sister's in law Mary Alice Butkus Moritz (Barry), Mary Margaret Butkus Esteki
and many many nieces and nephews. He was a car enthusiast & a Jack of all trades. Worked for the Tampa Tribune Newspaper for 43 years Recently worked for G4S Security which he enjoyed Loved taking relaxing cruise' s, visiting friends in Charleston SC & Eustis, FL Helping family & friends whenever needed . . he was a true Mr fix-it Enjoyed playing with his 7 grandchildren Volunteering at Trinity Cafe whenever he could Ushering at EPIPHANY of Our Lord Church every Saturday Meeting friends for dinner. Family get togethers.
The viewing will be held at MacDonald Funeral Home ~ 10520 No. Florida Ave Tampa, FL 33612 ~ Friday-Aug. 3rd for visitation from 6-8 pm.
On Saturday August 4th at 11:00 AM, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at EPIPHANY OF OUR LORD CHURCH @ 2510 East Hanna Ave in Tampa with entombment to follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery @ 4207 E Lake Ave in Tampa. There will be a Celebration of Life following.
