Mr. Thomas Roy Mallory, 65, passed away on July 19, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Edmon and Mildred Shuster Mallory. Tomis survived by his wife, Patricia (Pat); children: James Edmon, Rebecca Ann, and Matthew Thomas; grandchildren: Devin, Hunter, Regan, and Aliyah. Also survived by James' fiancee, Lisa Collins and daughter, Erin; siblings: Pat, Clara, Joe, and Mike. Tom was born in Elba, Alabama, moved to Lafayette, Indiana at an early age, then to Florida while in his teens. He was a recruiter for the US Navy and retired in 1995. Tom was very involved in his church at Most Holy Redeemer. He served as Eucharistic Minister, member of the Men's Club, and volunteered whenever needed. Whenever a friend called and asked for help, Tom was there. Tom died doing what he loved most, volunteering for the the Diocese of St Petersburg as a speaker for their marriage preparation program. He took his faith seriously and served Our Lord with all his strength. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 pm at MacDonald Funeral Home, 10520 N Florida Ave, Tampa. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Wednesday at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
