Vilma A. Jimenez, 74, of Tampa, Florida passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2020. She was born August 29, 1945 in Rio Pierdras, Puerto Rico to Tulio Rosello and Ana Eva Lausell. She moved to New York, NY at the age of 3 where she was raised and would later meet her late husband, Carlos Jimenez.

Vilma was a loving wife to Carlos Jimenez who preceded her in death. After 23 years, she is joined once again with the love of her life. She spent many happy years devoting her life to raising their children. She also played a very active role in the lives of her grandchilren. Vilma will be remembered for her sense of humor, laughter and beautiful smile. She loved traveling, shopping and spending time with her friends and family.

Cherishing her memory are brothers, Thomas Rosello of Las Vegas, NV and Joseph (Janet) Rosello of Orlando, FL, daughters, Charlene Jimenez of Syracuse, NY, Maria Jimenez Fletcher of Miami, FL, Karlin (Eddie) Algarin of Mesa, AZ, sons, Michael (Omayra) Jimenez of Tampa, FL and Charles (Lisa) Jimenez of Tampa, FL. She also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews, 15 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends. It was the love for her family and time she spent with them that brought her the most joy. She will always be with us in memory and in our hearts.

She has been reunited in Heaven with her parents, brother, Tulio Rosello Jr., sister in law, Gladys Rosello, her loving husband and sons, Carlos R. Jimenez Jr. and Carlos A. Jimenez.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 1stfrom 11 am - 12 Noon at the funeral home. Funeral service will take place at 2 pm at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. ( I-75 N , take exit 309 )
