Vivian G. Nelson, 94, of Clearwater joined her heavenly father June 30, 2011. She was predeceased by her father, mother, brother and husband, Charles. Vivian was born in Miami, Florida and moved to Clearwater as a new bride in 1938. She was a lifetime member of First Church of the Nazarene, Clearwater. She is survived by two children, Tom Nelson (Lois) and Mariellyn Barnum (Don); four grandchildren, Lisa, Connie, Cheryl and Mark; five great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Brenna, Alyson, Caroline and Mitchell; and several nieces and a nephew. The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to her special caregiver, Pauletta Barrett and husband, Wayne. Our mother's life was made so much better by your love and care. Graveside services will be held for family and friends, Tuesday, July 5, 11:00 am at Clearwater Municipal Cemetery, S. Myrtle Ave. and Lakeview Rd.
