Vivian Veenstra Snyder, 87 of Tampa passed away on May 2, 2017, at her home surrounded by herfamily. She was born on May 29, 1929 in Tampa, the daughter of George and Bronnie (Braswell)Veenstra. The matriarch of the family, Vivian was a devoted army wife and mother, having traveled the world with her husband Curtis. Known for her quick retorts and wise cracks,Vivian could carry aconversation with anyone. She was an amazing cook and motherly figure who loved her family deeply. She is predeceased by her parents, her husband Curtis, and her son Gordon. She is survived by a son George, wife Eda; daughter-in-law Deanne; grandchildren Theresa, husband Don Rodriguez; Jason; Shannon; and Georgea Snyder. Great-grandchildren Logan and Ashlyn Rodriguez, Riley Snyder-Kinard, Kelsey Tepper. A sister Cora Lee (Veenstra) Nipper and her husband Johnnie, niece Portia, husband Charlie Grizzaffe. Brother-in-law's Gene; Grady, wife Miriam; Wayne, wife Sandy. A graveside service will be held at Ehren Cemetery, 7135 Ehren Cemetary Road, Land O'Lakes, FL on Monday May 8th at 10 am.
