Wanda Sue Powell Horn passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Renaissance North Tampa in Tampa, Florida.

Born August 3. 1932 in Jacksonville, Florida,  her life was characterized by her Christian faith and dedication to her late husband Raymond Horn and many cherished friends. Wanda attended grade school in MacClenny, Florida and was a high school graduate of Georgia Christian School in Dasher, Georgia. A few years later she moved to Tampa to attend Florida Christian College, a place she truly loved. Wanda devoted decades of service and financial support to the college until the time of her death. She was a member of Livingston Avenue Church of Christ in Lutz, Florida.

Wanda leaves behind a stepdaughter, Carolyn Ellis of Ocala; a grandson Bryan Ellis of Yulee, Florida; and one brother, Ray Powell of Lake Butler, Florida. She is preceded in death by her parents Tate Jr and Lois Sellers Powell and her husband Raymond Horn.

A funeral service will be held at the Livingston Avenue Church of Christ in Lutz on Tuesday, December 9thm, at 10:00am.  Interment will follow at 3:00pm at Woodlawn Cemetery in MacClenny, Florida.
