Mr. Wayne E. Hemm, 71, of Tampa was welcomed at the heavenly gates on May 9, 2014.Wayne was born to Gustav and Mildred Hemm in 1942 in Chicago, IL. Wayne loved detective and mystery movies but also loved to laugh and play practical jokes. He was a helicopter mechanic while enlisted in the U.S. Army and retired as Chief of Supply as a civilian federal employee for the U.S. Army. Loving husband of 51 years, devoted father and grandfather, son, brother, uncle and cousin. He is survived and will be missed by his wife Nidia; sons, Antony and Angel; daughters, Connie and Pamela and granddaughter Harper; brother, James Hemm; step-mother, Joan Hemm; numerous nieces and cousins. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 3-4 pm at MacDonald Funeral Home, 10520 N. Florida Ave, Tampa.A funeral Mass to celebrate Wayne's life will take place at St. Paul Catholic Church at 10:00 AM Thursday, May 15, 2014.
