Willa Webster Munday, (1/18/1912 ) was quietly taken by God to her eternal resting place on December 30, 2009 at University Memorial Hospital in Tampa, Florida. Born 1,18, l912 in Millers Creek,N.C.to William Tripplett and Ila Wright Webster.Her husband, Harold Blaine Munday,his siblings, HazelLong, Pearl Sherrill, Rose White, Fred Munday, Iva Troutman, Ila Woodsall proceeded her in death.Her deceased brotherDaniel Wayne Webster'swife, Elsie Webster survives, also two of their children, Dan and Robin Webster of Charlotte, N.C..She was loved and will be greatly missed by her daughter,Delaine Munday DeHainaut, widow of Dr. Raymond Kirk DeHainaut, with whom she lived during the past 12 years,in Tampa, Fla. Losing her is a great loss also to hergrandson Raymond Marc, wife Julie and great grandchildren Dayna and Jayson De Hainaut.Mrs. Munday was aCharter Member of Monticello Un. Methodist Church, her Friendship Sunday School Class and churchmembers were very dear to her. She enjoyed memberships in Garden Clubs, Quilting groups, exercise classes, and in doing flower arrangements, where she had many friends. She alwaysenjoyed her family,her Church,many friends and traveling. She will be remembered and loved by all those who knew her. She hada loving personality to the end of her life, even if she was notfeeling well she didn't complain. She attended the Temple Terrace Church and the Sara Bryant Circle while living with her daughter in Temple Terrace, Florida.After she retired from Stimpson's Hosiery Company she made her first airplane trip to visit her children doing Mission work in Bogota,Columbia. She is rememberedby the many friends she met there.Calls to her daughter have comefrom all over South America and Chinato pay their respects to a lady they loved very muchand in appreciation for all the help she gave to others through her love of God and her church.Flowers: Johnson-Bunch Funeral Home, Statesville, N.C. or Memorials in her memory to the Street Children's Mission Work, Dom. Jill Rinehart will be in charge of the Memorial Service and assisted by Rev. Irman Bradley at Monticello United Methodist Church in Statesville, N.C.. We will meet1-9-2010 near noon becauseof the inclement weather prediction for that date.Memorial Service will followlunch at 1:00 p.m. a private burialwithfamily members will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.


We are grateful to the MacDonald Funeral Home which graciously carried out her funeral plans in Tampa, Florida with respect and carefor her and her family.
