William A. Kalenits, 90, of Tampa passed away December 10, 2012. Bill served with the US Army during World War II. He was a member of Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and he will be remembered as a great husband, father and a fisherman. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Kay Kalenits; daughters, Patricia Palko of Ohio and Virginia Matovich of Georgia; brothers, Frank Kalenits and Donnie Kalenits, both of Youngstown, Ohio; sister, Helen Solomon of Youngstown, Ohio; five grandchildren and several great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8 pm with a Catholic Prayer Service at 7 pm at MacDonald Funeral Home, 10520 N. Florida Ave, Tampa. A service will take place with full military honors at 11:30 AM Friday at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida
