William "Bill" D. Beach, 82, of Land O' Lakes FL, passed away on April 2nd, 2016. Bill was born and grew up in Galion, Ohio, and moved to Tampa in 1977. Bill served in the Army for 2 years and was in the reserves for 2 years. Before retiring in 1988, from GTE Data Services, he and Beverly spent some time in the Dominican Republic where they also worked with the local missionaries. He continued contract work with GTE International/Codatel for several years after retirement. In recent years he enjoyed greeting people and bagging groceries at Publix, where he worked for 5 years. Bill was also a member of First Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Beverly J. (Seiter); his four children, Bryan Beach (Terri) Tampa, Brenda Worden (Larry) Tampa, Belinda Melcher (Brad) Ohio, and Becky Borges (Felix) Tampa; Siblings, Don Beach (Virginia) Arizona, Mary Lou McClarren, Ohio; eight Grandchildren; one great grand child; Goddaughter, Rachael McKee (Paul), and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Kenneth I. Beach and Helen (Cole), infant brother, niece Cindy Amick and granddaughter Stephanie Worden. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 PM Thursday, April 7th at MacDonald Funeral Home, 10520 N. Florida Ave., Tampa. Additional services and burial will take place in Galion, Ohio.
