William H. Evans, 80, of Tampa passed away surrounded by his family on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Lakeland Regional Hospital from C.O.P.D. He was born in Tampa to Ernest and Rachael Evans. William served during Korea with the U.S. Navy. He is survived by companion, Elaine Henderson; son, Raymond Evans and daughter, Christine Evans of Tampa; three grandchildren, Destiny, Jasmin and Romeo; brother, Dave Evans; sisters, Teddy Joyce, Alma Seaton and Betty Haas.
A private viewing was held on February 8th. A graveside service with full military honors will take place at 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 14th at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida
